Alec Balon

Alec Balon

High School: Bridgeport High School, W.V.

Graduation Year: 2015

Position: Attackman

College Choice: Alderson Broaddus University

Major lacrosse honors: First team All County, First team All State, All-Star game selection, Offensive MVP

What will you major in/study? Pre-med

Highlights of 2015 season: “This season has been unbelievable, with only 13 guys on our roster, we managed to go undefeated (in Division II) and reach the semifinals.”

Why did you choose school? “I chose Alderson Broaddus because of how welcoming the staff was and how visible it was that the school cared about the lacrosse team and was willing to go all out for it. This combined with knowing some of the guys making up the class of 2019 for ABU made it a no-brainer.”

Thank You: “I want to thank my coaches Jim Mullen and Mike Mullen for constantly pushing me harder and keeping me grounded. Because of them, I’ll always remember where I came from and do my best to represent us well.”

Other schools considered: Mount St. Mary’s
